DISCUSSION

Every year the Commission recognizes Bike Month, which is in May.  This year Bike-to-Work Week is May 13-19, 2024.  Bike-to-Work Day is May 17, 2024.  At this time, the next scheduled meeting is in June, so it would be appropriate to acknowledge Bike Month, now at this meeting.  Staff has prepared a proclamation to be adopted by the Commission.  This proclamation recognizes the importance of cycling historically, to our health and to our community as well as the above mentioned nationally recognized days.
