Title
SUBJECT: Active Transportation Plan Recommendation and Discussion
REPORT IN BRIEF
The Commission will be presented a final draft of the Active Transportation Plan and given an opportunity to discuss plan, process and support.
RECOMMENDATION
The Commission make a recommendation to the City Council that they adopt the Active Transportation Plan contingent on its adoption by the Merced County Association of Government Board.

1. Recommend to City Council for Adoption, as recommended by staff; or,
2. Recommend Denial; or,
3. Continue to a future meeting (date and time to be specified in the motion).
DISCUSSION
The last year the Commission has been involved with the evaluation and creation of the Multi-Jurisdictional Active Transportation Plan. After hours of public engagement and staff and their support have finished the final draft of the plan, to be heard and adopted by consent at the MCAG Board Meeting next week.
