REPORT IN BRIEF 
Considers adopting a Resolution 2026-33 authorizing the submittal of a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for a FEMA Assistance to Firefighter Grant (AFG) with an estimated total project cost of $500,000 to prepare firefighters for the unique challenges posed by new energy sources and evolving transportations risks. A local match of 10% ($45,454.55) of the grant funds is required.
