The approximate playground area is 5,350 square feet and is located within Fahrens Park at the southwest corner of R Street and Buena Vista Drive.
In September 2021, staff solicited Request for Proposals for the Fahrens Park Playground Equipment Replacement Project.

Each proposal was evaluated by staff. Evaluation criteria included, but was not limited to: quality of design, play value, quality and durability of equipment, uniqueness, compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and other standards, as well as the reliability and customer service of the manufacturer.
