DISCUSSION

On May 1, 2023, Council awarded the bid to T&S Intermodal Maintenance, Inc., for the Regional Park Restrooms for $458,350 (base bid) for the demolition and remodel of Rahilly Park restroom; and the demolition of McNamara Park restroom and the installation of a prefabricated CXT restroom. During the same meeting, Council requested to include Applegate Park restroom (Bid Alternate # 1) for $377,731 and allocated an additional $425,000.00 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Strategic Investment Plan to remove and replace the restroom at Applegate Park, including contingency, engineering, and testing and inspections.

The following is the approved original budget for Project CP220013-Regional Park Restrooms:

Construction

$   458,350.00

Contingency

$     45,835.00

Engineering, Testing & Inspection

$     45,835.00

TOTAL:

$   550,020.00

The following is the additional funds reflected in this change order for Project CP 240043 Applegate Park Restroom:

Bid alternate 1                                                                   $377,731.00

Additional Contingency, Engineering, Inspections              $47,269.00
