RECOMMENDATION

Continue the discussion of the Council stipend to the next Public Hearing meeting.

DISCUSSION

During their September 30, 2020, meeting, the Citizen’s Stipend Setting Commission discussed and recommended a monthly stipend for the Mayor and Council Members. At the October 22, 2020, the Commission unanimously voted to give Council Members a $400 monthly stipend and the Mayor a $500 monthly stipend. The Commission provided a written recommendation to Council, which Council approved a resolution to adopt the Commission’s recommendation at their November 16, 2020 City Council meeting.

 

The Citizens’ Stipend Setting Commission is to review the previous recommendation and adopted resolution to determine the Council and Mayor’s monthly stipend.
