RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion adopting Resolution 2026-01, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, Adopting City Council Policy C-2, Distribution of City Awards and Other Forms of Recognition from the City Council.

DISCUSSION
On November 13, 2025, the Ethics and Governance Subcommittee met to review the Council Policy C-2, Distribution of City Awards and Other Forms of Recognition from the City Council. Staff presented redline changes (Attachment 2) to the subcommittee.
This item is before Council as a recommendation from the Ethics and Governance Subcommittee to revise and update the Council Policy C-2.

No impact on budget appropriations.
