Considers awarding a Construction Contract to Redstone Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,623,016 for the CMAQ Multi-Use Pathway on Childs Ave Project.
RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion:
A. Awarding the CMAQ Multi-Use Pathway on Childs Ave, Project CP220063 to Redstone Construction, Inc., in the amount of $1,623,016; and,
B. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary documents and to approve change orders not to exceed 10% of the total contract; and,
C. Authorizing the Finance Officer authorization to make necessary budget adjustments.

DISCUSSION
The work to be performed includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, removal of roadway pavement, removal of concrete and asphalt driveways, relocation of fences, installation of pavement curb, multi-use path, driveways, drainage swale, culverts, and landscape blocks, and the restoration of fencing, landscaping, striping and signage.
