Considers the approval of the Second Amendment to the City Manager Employment Agreement providing an additional term of three (3) years.

 

RECOMMENDATION

City Council - Adopt a motion approving the Second Amendment to the City Manager Employment Agreement providing an additional term of three years.

DISCUSSION

The City Council set negotiation parameters for an employment agreement extension with D. Scott McBride as the City Manager. This item seeks to adopt the proposed second amendment to the employment agreement providing an additional term of three years with Mr. McBride.  There are no other changes to the employment contract. 

 

IMPACT ON CITY RESOURCES

No additional appropriation is required. The position is already included in the adopted annual budget, and there in no increase in salary or additional budgetary cost associated with this position in the current fiscal year. As approved, this position will continue to be incorporated into the staffing budget in future fiscal years.
