REPORT IN BRIEF

Introduction of and report on the Draft Existing Conditions and Trends Information for the Downtown Station Area Plan (DSAP)

Body

DISCUSSION

The DSAP Existing Conditions and Trends Documentation is an overview of the various topics covered in the DSAP. The purpose of the information is to document the current state of the station area by analyzing existing conditions and identifying key trends that will help guide the creation and implementation of the DSAP. The documentation includes a land use assessment, an economic assessment, an infrastructure assessment, a transportation assessment, a summary of the community workshop (10/23) and the results of the survey released late last month.  Within the documentation is a mix of text, infographics, charts, graphs, and maps to provide a clear depiction of the current conditions and trends that will shape the future of Merced’s downtown.
