DISCUSSION
At the June 16, 2025, City Council meeting, City Council approved $30,000 of FY 2025/2026 budget for community funding. City Manager staff issued a Request for Proposal on June 26, 2025, to allow non-profit groups based in the city of Merced and serving residents of Merced to submit funding requests in support of City Council's adopted FY 25/26 Goals and Priorities. Requests were due to the City by July 17, 2025. Below is a summarization of the funding requests received and the City Council Budget Sub-Committee's selections.
