DISCUSSION

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced has had their contract for renovation, ownership, and operation of Kiddieland amusement park extended by City Council. ARPA funds will be used to build a new fence line, new train route and new walking path out front of Kiddieland. The work is scheduled to take place later this year and must be completed by September 2026. Kiddieland is ran solely by members of the Kiwanis of Greater Merced and their affiliated volunteers. The City of Merced supports the use of Kiddieland through partnerships with Parks & Community Services and support from Public Works as needed.
