SUBJECT: Discussion and Approval of Dates for Recreation and Parks Commission Tours of Leased Facilities
REPORT IN BRIEF
The Recreation and Parks Commission will discuss and consider approving dates for Commission tours of facilities leased by the City of Merced. The tours will provide Commissioners with an opportunity to visit and become familiar with the leased facilities, observe their current condition and use, and gain a better understanding of the facilities managed through the Parks and Community Services Department.
RECOMMENDATION
Recreation and Parks Commission - Adopt a motion:
A. Approving the proposed dates for Recreation and Parks Commission tours of City-leased facilities; and,
B. Authorizing staff to coordinate the facility tours with the appropriate City staff, tenants, and/or facility representatives; and,
C. Authorizing staff to make minor adjustments to the tour schedule as necessary to accommodate facility availability and scheduling conflicts.

1. Approve, as recommended by staff; or,
2. Approve, as modified by the Recreation and Parks Commission; or,
3. Deny the proposed facility tour dates; or,
4. Refer the item to staff for reconsideration of specific dates or facilities; or,
5. Continue the item to a future Recreation and Parks Commission meeting, with the date and time to be specified in the motion.
