DISCUSSION
On October 6, 2025, the City Council set negotiation parameters for an employment agreement extension with M. Venus Rodriguez as the Finance Officer. This item seeks to adopt the finalized employment agreement extension with Mrs. Rodriguez with a current salary of $222,044.16 and outlies certain benefits and terms of condition of her employment for an additional term of five years.
IMPACT ON CITY RESOURCES
No additional appropriation is required. The position is already included in the adopted annual budget, and there in no increase in salary or additional budgetary cost associated with this position in the current fiscal year. As approved, this position will continue to be incorporated into the staffing budget in future fiscal years.
