REPORT IN BRIEF
Considers a request by the City of Merced and the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to modify Street Closure Request #21-01 regarding the closure and use of City streets and Bob Hart Square. The modifications include the extension of the event time from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and the modification of Condition #12 extending the time that music is allowed from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the remaining events dates on Thursday, July 1, August 5, September 2, and October 7, 2021, for a monthly Farmers Market Event (El Mercado).
RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion approving the modification of Street Closure Request #21-01 including the extension of the event time from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and the modification to Condition #12 extending the time that music is allowed from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., subject to the details and conditions outlined in the Administrative Staff Report.
