DISCUSSION
The Public Works Department opened a recruitment for the position of Lead Instrumentation and Electrical Technician position. The position was open for two weeks and the department received only one qualified applicant.
Per City Personnel Rules and Regulations, anytime there are less than 3 qualified applicants, the Personnel Board must approve the employment list prior to the department moving forward with hiring.
