RECOMMENDATION
Arts and Culture Advisory Commission - Adopt a motion approving a mural design on the dumpster enclosure in the 18th Street City Parking Lot.

DISCUSSION
The City Council allocated $100,000 for art installations across Merced. During the 2022/23 call for artists, Artist Andrea Torres was selected for a mural project on the dumpster enclosure in the 18th Street City Parking Lot between Canal and M Streets.
Project history: Ms. Torres’ original submission included design concepts. The artist has updated her submission to include three designs for consideration. Upon ACAC approval she would like to install her mural on the enclosure in the upcoming weeks.

$3000.00 budget for this expense in the City Manager’s Professional Services Account Line 10001000-511012.
