REPORT IN BRIEF
Considers approving a Professional Services Agreement with Precision Civil Engineering, Inc., along with a Reimbursement Agreement with Tavares 2015 Trust, for the preparation of an environmental document to annex 366 acres into the City of Merced for future development. The subject site is located on the northeast corner of East Mission Avenue and Tyler Road.

RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion:

A. Approving the Deposit and Reimbursement Agreement with Tavares 2015 Trust, a California Limited Partnership, in the amount of $271,245.82 to cover the cost of the consultant contract ($246,587.65) and staff time ($24,658.17) for the administration of the environmental review process; and,

B. Approving the Professional Services Agreement with Precision Civil Engineering in the amount of $246,587.65 for preparation of an environmental document for the annexation of approximately 366 acres into the City of Merced; and,

C. Approving an increase of revenue in the amount of $246,588 to Fund 3000-Development Services, Developer Capital Fee and appropriating the same to Professional Services for payment to Precision Civil Engineering; and,

D. Approving an increase of revenue in the amount of $24,659 to account Fund 3000-Development Services, Cost Recovery; and,

E. Authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents.
