RECOMMENDATION
Citizen’s Stipend Setting Commission - Adopt a motion adopting Resolution 2024-74, a Resolution of the Citizens’ Stipend Setting Commission of the City of Merced, California, providing a written recommendation to the City Council regarding the recommended monthly stipend it deems appropriate for the City Council and the Mayor pursuant to section 402 of the City of Merced Charter.

DISCUSSION
During the Jun 20, 2024, Citizens’ Stipend Setting Commission, Commissioners, and staff discussed the City Council’s stipend and suggested to increase the stipend by an additional $100 of the Council and Mayor’s current stipend.
Staff is recommending the Citizens’ Stipend Setting Commission to approve a written recommendation to the City Council.
