SUBJECT: Professional Services Agreements for Architectural and Environmental Services for the Police Headquarters Site #2 Project 116040
REPORT IN BRIEF
Transfers a total of $60,000 in funds and approves two separate Professional Services Agreements for investigation into the Merced Sun Star Facility as the future Police Headquarters location.
RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion:
A. Transferring $30,000 from Fund 047 Facilities-Police (City) and $30,000 from Fund 057 Facilities-Police (Developer) and appropriating the same to Project 116040 Police Headquarters #2; and,
B. Approving Professional Services Agreement with WMB Architects, Inc., in the amount of $51,960 for architectural/engineering services for the Police Headquarters Site #2; and,
C. Approving Professional Services Agreement with Krazan & Associates, Inc., in the amount of $26,025 for environmental services for the Police Headquarters Site #2; and,
D. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.

2. Approve, subject to conditions other than recommended by Staff (identify specific findings and/or conditions amended to be addressed in the motion); or,
3. Deny; or,
4. Continue to a future meeting (date and time to be specified in the motion).

CITY COUNCIL PRIORITIES
The City Council at their 2014 Council Policy Planning Session approved an action item that requested the re-evaluation of the Mansionette and Yosemite Site as to its appropriateness as the site for the future Police Headquarters Building.
