DISCUSSION

The police department recently received a check in the mail from a donor, Edward Suz, without any other explanation other than K9 annotated in the memo area of the check.  We have contacted Mr. Suz and confirmed his intentions were to donate $3,000 to the Police K9 Unit.

The Merced Police Department recently had one of our K9’s pass away.  This donation could be used to purchase equipment and supplies to replace one K9 as well as purchase equipment and supplies to support two existing K9’s and their handlers.
