DISCUSSION

On July 25, 2019, staff presented to the Citizens Advisory Charter Review Committee the concept of combining current and future tax oversight committees into one committee.  Staff believes that this will increase transparency and citizen participation at the same time.

Staff was directed by the Committee to return to the August 15, 2019 meeting with draft language for review and possible approval for inclusion in the recommendation to the City Council for placement on the March 2020 Primary Ballot.
