SUBJECT: Approval of a 5 Year Agreement for the City to Provide Video Production Services to the Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) and Acceptance and Appropriation of $450 Payment per Event
REPORT IN BRIEF
Considers entering into a 5 year agreement for the City to provide video production services to the Merced County Association of Governments and the acceptance of a $450 payment per event.
RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion:
A. Approving the agreement with Merced County Association of Governments; and,
B. Authorizing any receipts of video production services from MCAG to be approved on a continuous basis for the term of this agreement, increasing revenue to account 672-0403-360-01-01 and appropriating the same to account 672-0403-512-29-00; and,
C. Authorizing the City Manager or the Assistant City Manager to execute the necessary documents.

DISCUSSION
The Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) is requesting the City to provide video production services for the MCAG Governing Board meeting that is held in the City Council Chambers.
The City currently performs nearly identical video productions services for the City Council meetings. The City has the equipment and staffing to handles the video production services requested by MCAG for each year the event takes place in the City Council Chambers. The production services will include operating camera switching system, recording of the event, and broadcasting the event on the City Public, Education, and Government channels, Comcast channel 96, and ATT&T U-verse channel 99.
The City will charge MCAG $450 for per event when video production services are provided in the City of Merced Council Chambers.
IMPACT ON CITY RESOURCES
The revenue receives from Video Production will be appropriated in Fund 672-0403-512-29-00 to help upset expenditures.
