RECOMMENDATION
City Council - Adopt a motion:
A. Approving the first amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Goodwin Consulting Group, Inc. to prepare the rate and method of apportionment for Community Facilities Annexation No. 21 in the amount of $10,000; and,
B. Authorizing the City Manager or Deputy City Manager to execute the necessary documents.

DISCUSSION
Goodwin Consulting Group has provided ongoing services to prepare the Rate and Method of Apportionment (RMA) for Community Facilities District (CFD) annexations since the City's initial formation in 2003. The RMA determines the special tax to be assessed for each property within the CFD. Goodwin Consulting Group has been working with the City for many years and provides a range of services related to the administration of the City's Community Facilities District.
The original contract with Goodwin Consulting for $7,000 was approved by Council on June 6, 2022. The proposed First Amendment to the contract is for the preparation of the Rate and Method of Apportionment for CFD Annexation No. 21 for a multi-family project, known as The Hub 2.0. The first amendment is for an amount not to exceed $10,000.
