A public hearing was held by the Recreation and Parks Committee on October 24th. The required Subcommittee of Commissioners and two City Council representatives was present to review the application, ask questions, and make suggestions to the Commission. As a result of the public hearing the Recreation and Parks Commission voted to request City Council’s formal adoption of the name Kirk Wright Memorial Playground for the site at McNamara Park.
